About Me

Hi everybody! My name is Meredith Reese and I am a first year ecampus student here at OSU. I’m majoring in Psychology and hope to become a child therapist in the future. I live on a small island called Okinawa off the coast of mainland Japan and I’ve lived here for all of my life. I went to an english speaking international school and spoke Japanese at home so I’m fluent in both languages! I’m also taking a Korean class this semester in hopes to be trilingual by the end of my time here :)

This is my first time taking a communications class. Most of my communication online is done through Instagram (as a digital diary/photo album) and Pinterest (for outfit ideas, photo editing, and just scrolling while listening to music when I need some time to relax.) I also spend a lot of time on Apple Music creating playlists for any situation I can think of and reading lyrics of my favorite songs. Underneath is the link to an English translation of one of my favorite songs from last year. This song really resonated with me and I take any chance I can to share it with other people :)

A fun fact about me is that I am always listening to music whenever I get the chance. My favorite western artists are SZA, beabadoobee, Tyler the Creator, and Clairo. I am also a big fan of K-pop! Some of my favorite artists being Ateez, P1Harmony, Jannabi, wave to earth, and so much more. Last year, one of my favorite singers covered a song that really resonated with me and his cover ended up being one of my comfort videos/songs last year.
